Anthropia Ventures Donut Economy

WHAT WE BELIEVE IN

A regenerative future based on two foundations: IMPACT & ENTREPRENEURIAL SUCCESS

The planetary boundaries and the social foundation of humanity are non-negotiable. We still have the greatest opportunity in human history and the responsibility to take action through innovation, in order to create lasting change for future generations.

Be part of the solution: Let’s take the lead as brave pioneers for our bright future!

WHAT WE DO

Anthropia Ventures is an emerging early-stage impact fund (Art. 9 SFDR).

As an initial investor, the fund will focus on pre-seed & seed Exit-Oriented-Startups (EOS) and Non-Exit-Oriented-Startups (NEOS) in Germany and Europe, driving major social and ecological innovations.

With this uniquely balanced portfolio consisting of EOS and NEOS, a large number of the UN's 17 SDGs will be addressed and a movement of ambitious front-runners ignited.

  • Todays’ impact founders share the vision to solve the major challenges, our planet and thus humanity is facing. However, their approach often differs regarding business model and exit strategy. For some, the typical venture capital financing model is applicable. Others follow a less steep growth plan, with less required funding and earlier break even. We call them either Exit-Oriented-Startups (EOS), or Non-Exit-Oriented-Startups (NEOS). At Anthropia Ventures, we aim to support both. As we strongly believe that we need the fast-paced, disruptive “Next 1.000 Impact Unicorns” and the “New Mittelstand” companies, in order to scale impact in the different SDG areas.

  • We make startups “Impact Ready”! Our active collaboration with our partner, the Anthropia Impact Factory, enables us to support startups with valuable tools and mentoring – to provide them a supportive community of over 600 ambitious impact-driven founders. Our network of leading universities in the field of impact entrepreneurship allows us to help founders measure and evaluate their impact and make the startup “Impact Ready”.

    Anthropia Impact Framework

  • Throughout the year, we host a variety of events that bring together startups, investors, and corporates, providing a platform for collaboration and networking. Our community has grown to include over 300 startups, 600 founders, and more than 100 corporate impact leaders, all of whom come together annually at the Anthropia Summer Festival to connect and drive meaningful change.

MISSION-DRIVEN TEAM

“We founded Anthropia Ventures as entrepreneurs, driven by the mission to build a new kind of capital fund: one that understands entrepreneurs, supports both Exit-Oriented-Startups (EOS) and Non-Exit-Oriented-Startups (NEOS), and provides capital to founders who intend to solve our major challenges. Our experience in investing in startups and building programs to support entrepreneurs in their resilient & healthy growth in Europe and the US, enables us to truly understand founders’ needs and what it takes to succeed.”
